After long a hiatus, Kajal Agarwal is going to sign her next B-town film, with a hot Bollywood star like Ranbir Kapoor, Imran Khan or Shahid Kapoor. In fact, she even reportedly declined to do a film with actor Govinda, since he is not a happening star.
The actress, who mostly shares screen space with superstars down south like Suriya, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan Tej and Jr NTR, doesn’t want to harm her B-town brand. So, she prefers to work with younger stars.
“We have no such plans but she wants to do some plum B-town projects, instead doing films for the sake of it. She had to squeeze in 60 to 70 days from her busy and hectic schedule in Tamil and Telugu film industries. Since she is totally tied up with south films, its better to do a good project in Bollywood,” says a source close to the actress.
“In fact, she had to spend 60 days in different foreign locales for south films and has just returned for a small break. She is holding discussions with few producers. She will sign her next B-town film in four to five weeks,” the source adds.
Kajal’s brand value has improved after hit film Singham and endorsing a number of pan-Indian commercials. “She has got enough response for her Lux and Panasonic home appliances commercials and also endorsed few jewellery brands in Tamilnadu and Puducherry. She is now all set to endorse a jewellery brand across India and her brand equity is expanding by the day.”
